The Pen-drive Analogy in Software Development
In early days before the Git come and version control exists the developer among they share the code via pen drive to add/update/modified/ in project it takes lots of time + confusion over changes and collaborative works become very ineffective if A developer share the pen drive to B developer to modified the code while B modifying the project the A developer will not able to work over the same project until the pen drive were return back to A it consume lots of time.
Problems Faced Before Version Control Systems
Problems are faced by developer before the version control system come in existence are:
No accountability and traceability of code
No history get track
Collaborative work become more chaos
Difficult to rollback
Experimenting were risky(branching)
